PRESERVING OUR ITALIAN HERITAGE:
Announcing Our New
Cookbook Project
Be a Part of It!
After much dreaming, the Cookbook Project has become a
reality for our club! Mary Alice Bier chairs the committee,
Mary Piccin co-chairs, and Dina Giordano and Pat Pitula
assist in what promises to be an instant heirloom of
treasured family recipes and anecdotes.
We’re calling for you to be a part of our cookbook! Submit
at least 3 to 4 recipes – and why not some favorites from
friends and relatives, then buy them a copy as a special
gift! Recipes do not have to be Italian, simply favorites!
Email Mary Alice for recipe forms at Bier1457@comcast.net.
Recipe forms will also be available at the Thursday August
20th general meeting and at subsequent meetings.
Not only will it be way cool for you to see your own recipes
and those of your friends featured in our cookbook, but
you’ll be contributing to our worthy scholarship fund –
proceeds of this project funds our scholarship 100%. You’ll
be helping to support tomorrow’s leaders!
